Slip the wide flat flange of the material all the way under the first course of roof shingles as illustrated. The drip edge is nailed in place using 1 1 2 galvanized roofing nails. Use a flat pry bar and hammer to pry the nails out of the drip edge gently. While the vertical leg should be placed 1 4 1 2 away from the fascia.
