Then dry the area and apply brand new sealant to your windshield beneath the seal. When installing on tj models add the strip to the top front lip of the hardtop up to the front edge.

Press the windshield into place using your hands to push the rubber as far into the space as possible. Have your helper put slight pressure on the outside top of the windshield.
