I use a silicone soap dish from amazon which keeps it dry on the shower shelf.

If multiple people use the same bar of soap the chances of it becoming completely dry are slim to none.
I can t find the post but someone showed that they store their shampoo bar in an old fresh face mask pot or any other small pot.
The only thing i suggest is try putting it on your bathroom windowsill to let it dry out a little during your shower after you use it.
