Before you start your frp panels installation cut your corner moulding.
How to hang wall panels.
Gently remove any crown moulding baseboards and trim you plan on using again.
Adhesive picture frame strips come in two parts.
Remove the block and press the panel firmly into place by striking it with a rubber mallet or by hammering against a padded block.
Insert the panel into the corner moulding.
Stick the double sided tape at the back of the canvas.
Leave a millimeter space between each panel to allow for expansion and contraction as you stick them to the wall or frame.
The first step in how to install paneling is to remove all wall plates outlets and any nails in the wall.
A single 10 ounce container of adhesive can be used on up to four panels.
The wall panel is sold in pieces of 1 4m width by 3m in length.
Use a trowel and apply a 1 4 inch thick layer of frp adhesive to the back side of the first panel.
For best results set the paneling in the room for a few days before you install it.
For walls shorter than 3m the wallpaper will need to be trimmed with a sharp decorating knife during the hanging process.
Apply 1 8x3 inch bands of adhesive to the wall frame or solid surface in a zigzag pattern.
This will allow it to adjust to the humidity in a room.
Position the panel on the wall leaving a 1 4 inch space at the bottom and drive the four nails partway into the wall.
The simplest way to hang lightweight objects on wall paneling without damaging the wall or making holes is to use adhesive strips and hooks.
The panel is also printed with a 2cm overdraw at the edge so trimming will be neccessary.
Drive four finishing nails through the top edge of the panel.
Pull the bottom edge of the panel about 6 inches from the wall and push a block behind the sheet.
Remember to put the tapes on every corner of the wall art to make sure that it will stick well on the wall.
There s no need for you to put screws or nails on the wall.
