Hopefully the squeak is gone. Silicon spray and plumber grease are the best lubricants for your door hinges. White lithium grease is ideal for the hood and trunk hinges. Once the pin is loose pull it out lift up on the door handle to relieve pressure if the pin binds.

Reinsert the pin and wipe off any excess. Next apply a thin coat of lubricant to the hinge pin and the hinge itself and put the pin back in the hinge. If you can utilize the silicon spray in the right way then it will last longer for its sloppiness. To lubricate a door hinge start by using your fingers or a pair of long pliers to turn the hinge pin counterclockwise and remove it.

An excellent home way to lubricate the door is to use the lead of a soft pencil. Work the hinge by opening and closing the door over its full travel to spread the grease and then wipe off the excess. This is very simple just put the lead on the hinges and move the door slightly in different directions. Coat the pin with a thin layer of hinge oil.

Then wipe any dirt and grease off the pin and hinge plates with a paper towel or an old rag. Put a small dab of grease on the end and tap the pin back into place. Repeat the process if the squeak persists. Move it back and forth several times to work the lubricant in.

To apply the grease extract the pin rub a light coat of grease on the entire length of it and then also put a small glob on the business end. Tap the pin fully in. The procedure with door hinge oil is similar. Repeat the process if the squeak persists.

Keep the door closed and work on only one hinge at a time. Coat the pin with a thin layer of grease. When you have addressed of all the hinges open the door and move it back and forth several times to work the oil in. The material will crumble and fall on all the loops.

Put a small dab of grease on the end and tap the pin back into place. Lightly coat the hinge pin with petroleum jelly and dab a little in the top of the pin slot.
