If the door has a large hinge with four screw holes just drive 3 in.
How to get screws out of door hinges.
Strip out the old screws from the door hinge.
Put your back against the door frame.
You unscrew the hinge screws from both the door jam and door.
Otherwise screw them out and discard properly.
Fill that hole with a dowel if the wood won t show or for a seamless match a wood plug cut from matching stock.
Open the door wide and insert a wedge under the bottom outside corner to level it.
You don t want them to be inset or sticking out too far.
