The door frame we are installing the door in uses 3 semi oval hinges while the door itself had 2 rectangular hinges so we needed to make the door match the frame.

Set up a power or cordless drill with a screw tip attachment.
Smooth away any spots that stick with a sanding block.
This can be done while the door is in place if you have access to the necessary spots.
Install square head 4 inch long deck screws with the cordless drill.
Screw the pivot in to lower the door or screw it out to raise the door.
Tighten the screws in the hinges at the edges of the doors and at the faces.
Slide the hinge pins into place and remove the blocks from the door.
Get a helper to hold the door in place while you do this.
Now that the doors are the same size you need to notch out the the hinges for the new door.
These include tightening or replacing the screws of your door s hinges.
If this does not work you can insert a wood shim on the jamb that needs it.
Before doing so mark the spot with a pencil on either end where the door needs to be sanded.
Use screws slightly oversized and you won t have to make any repairs to the pulled out screw hole.
Line up the two hinge plates so that the ones on the door match the ones in the jamb.
Turn the bottom pivot in or out to change the height of the door.
Open both doors fully and stabilize each with a doorstop.
You can determine this by checking the outer top corners of the doors where they meet.
Test the door by placing it in the door jamb to make sure it fits.
There are two techniques that you can try to fix misaligned doors.
If not remove the door from its hinges and lay it flat on the floor to sand.
