If it binds on the latch side at the bottom you may need to fix the bottom hinge screws.

One other way that works well to help align once you have painted is to drill an 1 8 hole through the hinge door thread plate once you have the door where you want it then after painting you start the bolts and use a 1 8 pin punch to align the parts tighten the bolts then pull the punch out. Drill through the jamb countersink the screwhead with a countersink bit. If a door binds on the latch side at the top the upper hinge may be loose. You may need to add a second screw.

Hold door hinge against cardboard and use utility knife to cut around hinge.
